We’re Open!

Dear Friends,

It was an amazing first weekend here at The Pelican. We welcomed guests both new and returning and enjoyed a wonderful few days together. If this is your first season with us, here are some things you can expect…

• The breakfast bell rings at 8:30am every morning. BUT - we open the door to the dining room at 7am so that you may help yourself to coffee and tea.

• Forget your beach chairs? We have a few available for use that we keep on the deck near the beach.

• We also provide stacks of fresh laundered beach towels at the shower shack - help yourself!

• The afternoon lunch bell rings at 1:30pm daily.

• While we're always trying out new recipes we definitely have some favorites around here; on Fridays you can expect our famous sweet and sticky ribs; Saturday is always a Low Country Boil and Sundays - our crispy honey fried chicken.

• Forget something? We're just a few minutes from several grocery and drug stores!

And a reminder for ALL - we are a private inn. That means we do not permit visitors during the season who are not paying guests.

Please keep this in mind if you were unable to secure a reservation this season and are still hoping to see the property. This is an important effort on our part to maintain the quiet, family-like guesthouse feel of our property.
