Last month we gave you a run down of some of our go-to places on the island to grab a bite to eat after a long day in the sun. This month we are sharing a list of a few of our favorite places to shop in the area. We hope that you take some time to check them out next time you're with us. From surf gear and antiques to local art and fine jewelry - there's something for everyone on the list.

Eleanor Pitts : Looking for an incredibly refined shopping experience? Or perhaps the latest designs from some of the most renowned fine jewelers in the world? With lines such as Roberto Coin and Temple St. Clair, this beautiful shop has been providing elevated selections for over 30 years.

 

Hammock Shops Village : Known as "The home of the original Pawley’s Island rope hammock,” the first shop in this little village opened in 1938 and is now home to over 20 unique boutiques and restaurants. You’ll find the Original Hammock Shop itself, the famous Pawley’s Island Mercantile and Home of The Candy Cottage and so much more. It’s the perfect place to spend a late afternoon after we fill your belly!

 

Kudzu Bakery : Located on the hem of Pawley’s Island and Litchfield Beach, Kudzu is truly a one stop shop. Featuring a wide variety of baked goods, carry-out selections and wine; it also boosts a beautifully stocked gourmet grocery and some of the most lovely kitchen supplies and decor on the Island.

 

Legacy Antiques : One of the best and most thoughtfully curated antique and consignment shops on the Grand Stand. Located in Murrell’s Inlet, you‘ll find clothing, home decor, collectables and one of the finest selections of vintage and antique jewelry around.

 

Limablue : Did you know you can bring home one of our iconic Gurgle Pots that have been so loved by our guests? Limeablue, a beautiful little shop full of stylish clothing, homewares, books, jewelry and our favorite pitchers in the whole world, just so happens to stock them in an array of colors! 
 

Litchfield Books : Forgot your beach read? Head over to Litchfield Books to grab the latest best seller or the most sought-after indie titles. A lovely selection of gifts, and stylish readers too!

 

Lowcountry Jewelers : If you’re looking for a special piece of jewelry to commemorate your time on the Island, look no further. Our favorite piece? The sterling silver cast Horseshoe Crab necklace!

 

Pawley's Island General Store : Whether you're in need of beach picnic provisions or locally made artwork and crafts, this is a favorite go-to. From paintings, jewelry, clothing, sculpture, gifts, and a ready to go local produce and freshly made foods - the General Store is a must on your next visit.

 

Sage & Salvage : A one stop shop for finding a gift for the most discerning - or more importantly, yourself! Furniture, art work, small batch teas, linens, jewelry and so much more to explore in this little gem of a shop.

 

Sea Gypsy : An eclectic shop featuring some of the top designers in boutique fashion. The store is beautifully curated and designed; small thoughtful gifts and home goods round out the inventory.

 

Stox & Co. Wellness Cottage : Known for their spa services, Stox & Co. also own The Wellness Cottage; boosting luxury make-up and skincare brands, cult-favorite accessory lines and a gorgeous array of beachwear, it has quickly become a must-visit in the area.

 

Surf the Earth : A Pelican Inn favorite - not only can you rent surf and body boards and sign up for a lesson - the shop is hands-down the best traditional surf shop in the area. Great selection for men, women and children.

 

RTM (Retail Therapy Men's) : Featuring stylish clothing and accessories for men, this shop is the little brother to the women’s shop, Retail Therapy. A well curated selection of sought after men’s lines.

 

Taz Boutique : A staple in the community and a local favorite. Featuring both established and up and coming designers, Taz is a thoughtfully curated boutique and the epitome of Southern style.
